                                                                                                                                          We have owned the Roade House

                                                                                                                                          since October 1983. The building was

                                                                                                                                          originally a local village pub, The White

                                                                                                                                          Hart before it was converted into a

                                                                                                                                          restaurant. In 1997 we incorporated an

                                                                                                                                          adjoining cottage to create 10 guest

                                                                                                                                          bedrooms.

                                                                                                                                          Sue runs front of house and Chris is in

                                                                                                                                          charge of the kitchen.

                                                                                                                                          We have been listed in the Good Food

                                                                                                                                          Guide for nearly 25 years and also

                                                                                                                                          appear in the Michelin, Hardens and

                                                                                                                                          AA Restaurant Guides. We offer a

                                                                                                                                          small menu using fresh, top quality and

                                                                                                                                          predominantly seasonal ingredients

                                                                                                                                          cooked to order. We hope that you will

                                                                                                                                          enjoy the informal and relaxed

                                                                                                                                          atmosphere that the Roade House

                                                                                                                                          provides.
